Leadership

We demand a lot from our student athletes.  We require them to excel both in the classroom and on the court.  We ask them to put numerous hours towards perfecting their skills, improving their endurance, and getting physically stronger.  On top of their basketball skills, we call on them to be positive role models and leaders for their teams, schools, and communities.

This is A LOT to ask from teenagers.  Are we supporting them with all of the tools they need to be SUCCESSFUL?

Mind Gym’s mission is to help student athletes manage all of these expectations by giving them the skills necessary to succeed.  Mind Gym’s classes will build student’s self-awareness, time management skills, mind control, and confidence.  Recognizing and improving these traits will specifically focus and help build the athlete’s Basketball IQ, develop their Mental Toughness, help deter Performance Setbacks, and enhance their Leadership Skills.  All traits that will help them both on the court, and in life for years to come.
